Depending on the length of the detox diets, it would have various effects on your body. You may have a harder time when embarking on a longer period but you may reap faster results. However, sometimes you may not be able to take it too. When you retox your body, you need to slowly start to eat the food. Many detox diets would first advise you to start with colon detox so as to clear your colon. Most of the time, our colon are stuck with full of wastes that has accumulated there for decades. There are many different detox diets out there in the world. To have a safe detox, usually the start of a detox diet begins with a pure liquid diet. Follow on, you would need to start off slowly with fruits and vegetables for the next 4 to 5 days. It's only after one week of eating these foods, and then you can slowly regain a more normal diet. During the detox diets, do make sure that you have chew your foods thoroughly, drink a lot of water and rest as much as you can. Sometimes, it is good that you have a glass of lemon juice in every meal. Many people would tell you the goods and bads of detox diets after they embark on the diet itself. Certainly no doubt, most of them can give you the extra energy that allows you to stay clear-headed and better concentration. However, it is still up to you to decide which one is suitable for you.
